An extremely late blog post! My apologies.

I was on time when I was trying to program my AtTiny with my Jig, then it started not working right, and I think I fried 2 Tinys, then I couldn't find the new ones... and the blog post slipped away from my mind.

SO, here's a very late update on what happened with my AtTiny!

This was the set up I had for the capacitive sensor assignment. Somehow it partially didn't work, so I ended up moving on to another assignment at the end of the day.

First, I soldered a copper piece with two resistors, and somewhat got it to work with the Arduino. The input was delayed and was working somewhat oddly, but yet there was signal.

So then, to confirm that my AtTiny programming process is working, I lit up the light bulb with the AtTiny using my jig. It was working!

So then I moved on to trying to get my homemade sensor to work with my lightbulb, but on the AtTiny. This is where I think I fried my AtTiny. It heated up really quick, I think I may have wired them wrong, so I had to pull it out of the board, but it was really hot by the time I took it out, so I think I may have burnt it then. -Sadly I panicked and forgot to take pictures of this situation!

So first I wanted to make my code & sensor work, so I got a new Arduino to test that my code is working. And it did work, with my sensor. Although it had delays, it was working.

But then, when I tried it on my AtTiny, it never worked. The same code, same wiring positions, but it didn't work.

I looked for a new micro controller to switch with the one I possibly burnt, but couldn't find it for the night and I ended up wrapping up here.

(+ a video of me debugging my AtTiny, my code & wiring with Toby's AtTiny --> Not aligned in terms of timeline!)

Now that I've found where I can supply (?) the AtTiny, I plan to give it another go.
