This guy right here.

This little fellow is my final project for this class.

Pretty long fellow, actually. Not the best picture out there but gives you an idea on the overall shape I was going for.
Although I did not plan to land on this, somehow it emerged itself. I was originally planning to create a shoe horn. Well, until I got the angle of the tip wrong. I tried it on my ankle, and realized it's getting in the foot's way rather then assisting with the shoe, so I decided to change direction.
(Well, looking back at the sketch, I guess I wasn't settled in in the first place.)

After that first attempt of the shoe horn, I went back to the band saw and sawed in the rough shape for the fingers. Well, then I set up my direction and ended up going with that decision. And with the wooden hand and the junk shelf found handle, I now have an umbrella-backscratcher-shoehorn-hand-thhingy.
And an attempt to make it product-finishy, I sanded it up to 1000, applied linseed oil on it, and waxed it for finishing.

Although there's imperfections with sanding, Eh, it's good enough.
Attempting to find good use for it, I started showing it to people around the floor.

There was a fashion item attempt, or an umbrella attempt,

And there was a hanging attempt.
Many other attempts too, like back scratching, slapping, boop-ing, hand shaking(this was me),...
This seemed pretty cool. I think this is when I saw a possibility for a series.
I really enjoy the hand look and how it grasps people's attention. I think there's something special about it, and I might make this into a series.

And that right there, is the finale of my Fabrication course! Hooray :)
