The invitation I received earlier (meaning a few months ago) was a paper invitation to Fao Schwartz, the Jellycat Diner inside a toy store around Rockefeller Center.
(The invitation I received. By Electric Sheep.)

I went on this experience on Dec 5 Tuesday (yesterday & also a day after my birthday)
I had a hard time finding the time to go on the NYC experience. I've been delaying the experience for a while, which turned out to be a very bad decision. One thing to note is that Rockefeller Center felt very far away, and that I'm not a fan of crowds. And considering these two facts, I apparently found the worst day and time to visit.
It was Christmas time in Time Square.

There were a bunch of very excited people.
And there was also a large glowing Christmas tree. Everyone was so excited about this.

Then I got lost in the crowd and walked around the full Center not able to find the entrance. So I had to ask around where I could find Fao Schwartz. Most of the roads were blocked around this area.
After asking about three security guards, I finally found a sign which indicated that Fao Schwartz was nearby.

I was very exhausted at this point.
But the store seemed cool, and it was actually very large. There were like ten of these windows showcasing a bunch of toys.

The nutcracker definitely caught my attention. Gave me nostalgia, reminding me of the Ballet Shows my family used to watch when I was a kid.

Cool things around the interior, it seemed like a haven for kids.

Random stuff I saw in the store:

The plushies looked squishy.

There were like drones too.

very very
But didn't end up buying them.
These jets were super cool, however. I enjoyed admiring it.

Then, after walking around for a little bit & wondering around cool and cute things, I finally found the Jellycat Diner. It was funny cuz before I googled it I thought it was an actual food-serving diner or some kind of cute themed bar.

Not at all a bar nor a food-serving diner. It was a very kawai plush toy stand. Themed as a diner.

Yeah, there were a lot of people.

But then I saw the lil cozy Avocado family. They were ADORABLE.

From a big large Avocado doll to small baby Avocados, I was again very tempted to purchase the plushy but I fought back the urge and succeeded in securing my wallet. But they were very cute. The small one is so cute I wanted to bite it.
So after I visited the Fao Schwartz Jelly Cat Diner, I walked out and went over to the Met Opera, to treat myself after working on Pcomp all day on my birthday.
I watched Florencia en el Amazonas, a beautiful opera.

And with that, my NYC experience ended very nicely!
Thank you Electric Sheep, for the cool experience, now I know one thing cooler in NYC!
