First step for Shape Shifter - aka 3D mesher out of a webcam

[Getting a functional 3D mesh]

Current stage

ree

Started out as:

step 1) 3D -> 2D by mapping the z data to the diameter of the circle

grabbing the given data from ml5 (Keypoint3D.z / keypoint.z3D) and figuring it out (the calibrating process)

ree

step2) 3D -> 3D

placing cubes on the keypoints, a step before placing the vertices

ree

step3) 3D -> custom geo

(this is where I got stuck last night and asked Dan for help)

-Not much but to be continued-

Next Steps

Computer Vision stuff w/Media Pipe

Hopefully I can extract what I need without having to go too deep

Reference from Dan's email

ree

Combining things with GLSL from another class

Formula extracting & meshing more nicely

Eventually taking things into a 3D software & game engine & explore what's possible with this connection
