Digital Sculpture — JBB
JBB is a kinetic digital sculpture inspired by the harmony of opposites and the invisible laws that govern our world. Drawing from the symbolism of yin and yang, the scale of justice, the hourglass, and the light bulb, the device gently rocks like a balance in motion. As the paired vessels rise and fall, the water’s surface inside remains perfectly level — a quiet choreography of cause and consequence.
This rhythmic exchange embodies balance, karma, and the cyclical nature of life. Every tilt yields an equal return; every shift, a counter-shift. Nothing gained, nothing lost — only transformation.
The name JBB comes from the Korean 질량 보존의 법칙 (Jil-lyang Bo-Jon-Eu Bup-Chik) — the Law of Conservation of Mass. It is a reminder that, in the universe as in ourselves, what exists never simply disappears. It changes form, energy, or meaning, but it endures.
JBB invites viewers to witness this eternal principle — that equilibrium is alive, always adjusting, always returning to center.
