JBB is a kinetic digital sculpture that examines balance as both physical principle and philosophical metaphor. Inspired by the symbolism of yin and yang, the scale of justice, and the hourglass, the work consists of two connected vessels that rock gently in opposition. As one rises and the other falls, the water inside remains level — a subtle choreography governed by gravity and constraint.

The sculpture stages equilibrium not as static perfection, but as continuous adjustment. Each shift produces a counter-shift; every tilt generates return. The movement is slow, deliberate, and cyclical, revealing balance as a living process rather than a fixed state.

The title JBB derives from the Korean phrase 질량 보존의 법칙 (Jil-lyang Bo-jon-eui Beop-chik), meaning the Law of Conservation of Mass. The work draws from this scientific principle as a conceptual framework: nothing is created or destroyed, only transformed. Material, energy, and intention circulate through systems that persist beyond visible change.
